You read that headline correctly, and no I didn't make a mistake. A lock of Justin Bieber's hair just sold for over $40k. I think there may have been some tomfoolery afoot because the bid jumped from a totally reasonable $18,200 to the final price in the last seconds. I'm thinking Bieber may have come in and bought it himself because he realized that was all he really had going for him. The people over at Guyism were bidding on it for some unknown hilarious reason, but apparently entertainment is not worth the price of a BMW.
