Anthony Pettis Off The Cage Showtime Kick
I've been a lax follower of MMA for quite awhile now. The best way to put it is that I'm a fan who rarely watches, kind of like being a fan of an out-of-market sports team. Like you, I've never heard of Andy Pettis, and The Showtime Kick meant nothing to me until this morning. Now, he's my favorite fighter (for the day). He didn't pull this move until the very end of the fight, and he only won by decision, so I'm guessing he's not that good. The move should make whoever fights him next enjoy pounding him that much more. What will be really funny though is seeing clips of all the other fighters trying to pull this move off and failing miserably.
If more people were running around on the cage like a monkey in the Matrix, I would be more likely to become an avid fewer. Until then, I'll just keep watching Tony Jaa movies and the occasional youtube clips of awesome fights.
