I love when facebook responds to a call to action. This weekend someone came up with the idea of changing your profile picture to a childhood cartoon to raise awareness of child abuse. I have no clue how a cartoon picture raises awareness. Maybe if we all had pictures of battered children more people would take notice. The upside though, it's been pretty fun seeing all the various shows that people came up with. A few of the Flint Skinny facebook fans even got in on the action. There's one that I am just guessing was for the cause, but I've never actually seen it before and have no clue what it is.

In case you were curious what the results of all of our facebook efforts were...it worked. Because so many people changed their profiles to cartoons, all child abuse in the world stopped. Everyone give themselves a pat on the back. My readers are so great.
