Handicapped Man Banned From The UFC
The life of a handicapped person can be really tough (I assume). Not only do they have to battle physical impairments, they also have to deal with the social struggles of being different. From establishments intentionally not installing handicapped stalls in the bathrooms to rules forbidding them from participating, the discrimination is immense. The UFC has just gone too far though.
For a man looking to lead a normal life after losing his hands in war, MMA offered an outlet. It was somewhere that former Marine Nick Prindell felt he belonged. After a successful start, Dana White and the rest of the Commies at the UFC have now ripped that dream from him under the pretense of him having an unfair advantage. I fully intend to start a petition to have him reinstated into the USMMAA. I'll let you be the judge of if he should be allowed to compete or not, and I have faith that you will come down on the side of justice.
This story reminds me of another famous incident of discrimination in the sports world. in 2008, Oscar Pistorius was banned from competing in Track at the Olympics for having an unfair advantage. What was that advantage you ask? He didn't have legs. I'll let my good friend Katt Williams explain the situation to you.
