Another weekend full of football, and another weekend of players thanking god for their success. I think we all know that if there is a god, he doesn't give a shit about professional sports. Beyond that though, even if he did for some reason pay attention to our silly little games, each team has people praying for help so unless you think he likes you more.. you're still shit outta luck. Now if a monastery was taking on a whore house, then maybe one team would have a little extra help from an onlooking god.
