This circular bike project was developed by Robert Wechsler. He salvaged and reassembled nine bikes into a carousel formation. With everything setup, he generally leaves the bikes in a public places to allow people to ride them.

Steel Wire 3D Sculptures

Artist Shi Jindian created these amazing 3D sculptures from steel wire.
By trial and error, he learned how to crochet the two-dimensional strands into three-dimensional forms, using tools of his own devising. His wire meshes start out as wrappings around some common object. When the mesh is complete, Shi Jindian destroys or extracts the object, leaving only its steel exoskeleton.

The PEN Story

"This is the PEN Story in stop motion. We shot 60.000 pictures, developed 9.600 prints and shot over 1.800 pictures again. No post production! Thanks to all the stop motion artists who inspired us.

Some of the comments we have read here suggest that we should mention the creator of "A wolf loves pork", Mr Taijin Takeuchi.
While we were looking for a way to realise a story describing "a journey through time" based on printed images, we were inspired by Mr Takeuchi's brilliant work. For this reason we intentionally quoted his work in our little movie while showing full respect to his original idea."

Akira Bike

This is pretty old but I've just come across it. Japanese bike customisers BSU made a prototype of the bike from AKIRA! Unfortunately it's only a model so you can't ride it, but it's still pretty neat!
